Desde fines de enero, Habitat y Fundación Las Rosas colaboran en el desarrollo de operativos que buscan asistir a personas mayores que se encuentran en las zonas afectadas por los incendios ocurridos durante las últimas semanas en nuestro país.
Since the end of January, Habitat and Fundación Las Rosas have been collaborating on the development of operations that seek to assist elderly people who are in the areas affected by the fires that occurred during the last few weeks in our country.
These operations have already assisted more than 100 people in the towns of Villa Alegre, Villa Italia, Penco Chico and Ríos de Chile, in the municipality of Penco, Concepción, and include the following assistance:
– Individual medical and functional assessments.
– Care and monitoring of decompensated chronic conditions.
– Prevention and initial management of pressure injuries.
– Support for mobility and functionality.
– Guidance for caregivers and families, where appropriate.
During the next few days, the health staff of Fundación Las Rosas, together with the Mobile Habitat, will be distributing personal hygiene kits and carrying out more health care in the Miramar and La Huascar sectors, in Penco.
AFP Habitat: Committed to our purpose
Today, AFP Habitat is scheduled to distribute personal hygiene kits through our mobile unit, Habitat Móvil, in areas affected by the fires. Additionally, the Human Resources Department, along with the Sales and Branch sub-departments, have visited the affected families of employees, providing aid to those who have suffered the devastating effects of the fires.
Today more than ever, we want to offer our full support as a company to our employees, members, and retirees. We will continue to contribute, with a timely and engaged approach, to the well-being of senior citizens and communities in emergency situations.
